Victor Falls
The misty smell of Victor Falls highlights all that’s relaxing, rustic, and beautiful about Bonney Lake. Victor Falls is one of the few low land waterfalls found in the Puget Sound metropolitan area. There is a picnic area with tables, walking trails leading around the 70-foot waterfall, and fences that have been installed to keep visitors safe from the cliff edge.

The heart of the city of Bonney Lake contains many stores to choose from including Safeway, Fred Meyer, Target, Walmart, Home Depot, and Lowe’s. Bonney Lake has its very own movie theater, as well as multiple medical services, retail stores, and 70 restaurants to choose from! With over 500 businesses, you can satisfy all of your needs without leaving the city.
Viking Dog Park
Being an eco-friendly park, this doggy play area features 2 acres of grass, bark, and trees for dogs to explore. The off-leash area is well-fenced with a double-gate system so that dogs cannot escape the park while other visitors are entering. There are multiple walking trails for owners to walk with their pets. Plastic bags are supplied from dispensers and trash cans are located throughout the park, as well as a picnic table and water bowls for the dogs.
Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire
If you ever drive near the Target in Bonney Lake, you will probably notice a huge empty field behind the store. During the summer, this field transforms into a magical place called the Town of Merriwick. Over the course of 3 weekends, people gather here dressed as renaissance characters to watch events including jousting performances, sword fighting demonstrations, world renowned musical acts, and improv comedy. There are plenty of skilled artisans who set up their shops as well, where you can purchase hand-made trinkets such as unique jewelry, weaponry, leatherwork, clothing, shoes, and toys.
Allen Yorke Park
This beautiful park located right on Lake Tapps has its own volleyball, tennis, and basketball court as well as a baseball field. There are plenty of picnic tables, a skate park, and a boat launch directly into Lake Tapps. This park hosts many events in the warmer seasons including concerts, outdoor movies, and Easter Egg Hunts! There is also a swimming area with piers, a kayak rental, a playground for children, and a snack shack in the summertime.
