Lake Wilderness Park
This 117-acre park has many appreciative qualities including beautiful sandy shores that neighbors the lake, an arboretum full of gorgeous trees that overlook the grassy fields, and wandering trails for hikers, bikers, and dog walkers. The park has picnic shelters, a children’s play area, tennis courts, a softball field, a swim beach, boat rentals, and a fishing spot. Located within the park is the Lake Wilderness Lodge, which hosts events such as weddings, reunions, meetings, and fundraisers.
Music in the Park
One of the major annual events held at the Lake Wilderness Park is a series a free music concerts and festivals. Every Thursday evening for a month during the summer, different music artists and bands perform in the park where food and beverages are sold, and people of all ages are encouraged to attend!
Lake Wilderness Golf Course
This charming golf course that has been around for 90 years is very popular among the locals. With over 5,000 yards of green and 18 holes, this enjoyable course is for players of all skill levels.
Maple Valley Days
For more than 60 years Maple Valley has been hosting a festival to celebrate their tight-knit community. The event has well over 100 vendors and many carnival rides, as well as a parade. Events are held at the festival each year including fundraisers, contests, food drives, and wine and beer tasting.
