There are a total of 25 parks throughout the city which hold a total of 330 acres of park land. The Shoreline School District has 2 high schools, 2 middle schools, and 9 elementary schools. There are also 2 private schools and 1 community college.

Both group and private lessons are available for ice skating and ice hockey, and they welcome skaters of any skill level!

Kruckeberg Botanical Garden

This 4-acre botanical garden was created in 1958 by a professor of botany at the University of Washington. It is currently a private residence, but it is open to the public at certain times of the year where tours and horticultural workshops are offered. The garden contains a mix of both native and non-native species which were mainly obtained from China and Japan. The garden contains four State Champion trees and various rare trees of interest, including a Chilean fire tree.
